Michele Adcock, the founder of Ninny's Grins, is a former psychotherapist and currently a disaster relief chaplain and a professional clown. Throughout her diverse careers, she has witnessed the full range of human emotions, from joy to sorrow. She has come to understand the power of kindness and laughter for lifting emotional burdens. Ninny's Grins was born from a simple belief that a smile, whether it comes from a silly clown or a beautiful handmade card, can change someone's whole day.
In this era of digital communication where messages are sent in the blink of an eye, Michele offers a different perspective. She believes that a handmade card, beautifully crafted and thoughtfully delivered through the mail, is more than just paper adorned with ink—it is a genuine treasure. For Michele, each card represents a heartfelt connection, a slice of sincerity in a fast-paced world.
But Michele's vision extends beyond cards. She cherishes the joy on the faces of children and adults and the sounds of their laughter when a clown is present. Clowns infuse a bit of whimsy and delight into our everyday lives, a dose of happiness that’s often missing in our routine.
